Villa Ferraio
Villa Ferraio is our home and we hope that, in the days you will spend here, it will also be yours! It is a historical residence on the island of Elba from the Napoleonic era. It is said that a general of the Emperor lived there at the time of his Elban exile. It maintains the elegance of that period, which we have tried to decline in a contemporary but always authentic style.

We like to call it our “island in the island”. An oasis, a refuge, but also a lifestyle, for us who have chosen it as our home after so many years of life on the continent!

THE SPACES
Here you will find large spaces, in the gardens outside the home, in the garden inhabited by historical statues and colored by kumquats, our beloved Chinese mandarins, in the wicker lounges and around a table to enjoy the breakfast or a dinner illuminated by the sky… And we know from experience that immersion in these spaces will generate feelings of calm, relaxation, the possibility of inner listening and of the people who will share your stay at Villa Ferraio with you.
We take care of you, of the island in you, because we know how precious it is!
THE VILLA AND ITS BEDROOMS
We have four bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom and distributed over the three floors of the Villa. They are different from each other, but they share the attention we have put into every detail to make them welcoming, beautiful and to make you feel good!
And then, lounges and so many spaces where you can read, listen to music and play!
At your disposal the home library, our DVD films, WIFI in the living area and in the sleeping area.
And we are at your disposal, with our advice to enjoy your island stay as much as possible! We have written a small guide to share our favorite places! Corners of history, nature, greenery, blue, good wine and gastronomic specialties, beautiful sunsets and beaches with white stones and beaches with black stones! We will give it to you!
Upon reservation, exclusive private dinners are served in the outdoor courtyard or in the dining room of the house, according to the preferences of our guests and the weather conditions!

In the summer, Villa Ferraio, with the silence and the greenery that surround it, and the sea in front of you, represents a place of inestimable value! Coming home in the evening after a day at the beach … immersing yourself in the glitter of fireflies, in the song of crickets and cicadas … is priceless.
But we wish you have the opportunity to enjoy the Island of Elba also in all the other months of the year! In all seasons. To really get to know it and draw every beauty from it. Our island is so generous and so eager to make itself known and appreciated and at any time it can offer very special gifts to lovers of tourism that is not just seaside. Villa Ferraio is the ideal base for those who come for trekking, diving, cycling, golf, for business trips, for relaxing! Why not? We offer you the opportunity to stay longer than a weekend even “out of season”, perhaps to work remotely for a few weeks … never will work be more enjoyable and productive! A truly smart smart working!!!
In winter, Villa Ferraio will then be colored by the colors of fire, an element dear to us, on this island where iron processing has played a decisive role and from which our Villa takes its name. We light the fire in our fireplaces, cook the food in its embers and let the heat generated inside us not dissipate. Intimacy is created.
Experiences & Events
Tastings, boat rides, trekking, cultural trips, canoeing, sup, bicycles… Ask, just ask!
And then, for those interested, we organize twice a year a yoga and meditation retreat with highly qualified teachers, who will lead the participants into a truly unique experience. “Here and now”, at Villa Ferraio. Come and discover our yoga room immersed in the Mediterranean scrub with sea view!
Events
Villa Ferraio is available for private events. We welcome with joy and professionalism people who chooses it for important anniversaries, deciding to share the Villa with an intimate number of persons.
Transfers to and from the Island of Elba
On request, we can organize exclusive transfers (NCC – private boat) to and from the airports of Pisa and Florence.
Villa Ferraio represents us and we represent her and her history.

Villa Ferraio can be rented for a week or for longer periods, as well as for special events.

Reservations and cancellation policy
A deposit is required upon booking. Possibility of cancellation with refund of the deposit up to 30 days before the arrival date. In case of late cancellations, the deposit will be retained. More details on request.
